Limerick Womens Mini Marathon Print

The 12th annual Limerick Women's Mini Marathon takes place on Sunday 3rd October at 2pm at the University of Limerick Campus.

Part of the 8km course will be in County Clare on the UL North Campus crossing the spectacular Living Bridge, approx 1km from the finish.

You can run, jog or walk as an individual, part of group and / or for your chosen charity.

10th Irish Coaching Forum, 11th Septeber 2010. Dublin Print

The 10th Coaching Forum “Playground to Podium” promises to be the most exciting and challenging forum to date. It will address coaching issues at all levels of Sport & Physical Activity.

The key notes and workshops will be delivered by National & International experts, with practical knowledge and experience of dealing first hand with real coaching issues.

The forum takes place on Saturday 11th September in the Dublin Convention Centre.

New Clare U 12 Basketball League? Print
 

Are you interested being involved with a Clare Underage Basketball League? If so, Clare Sports Partnership are holding a meeting on Tuesday the 7th September at 8.30pm in the offices of the Clare Sports Partnership, Unit 1, Westgate Business Park, Kilrush Road, Ennis. The meeting will run until 9.30pm and will focus on an under 12 boys and girls league. Anyone interested in entering a team, interested in being trained as a coach or volunteering for the league, is welcome. Badminton Ireland is committed to providing all young people with the opportunity to take part in badminton and to helping schools provide their students with the opportunity to participate.

Did you know that badminton is one of the most popular sports in Ireland?  It's a sport that you can play throughout your life, both socially and competitively and it's also one of the few sports with equal participation of both sexes. TRI 3 Triathlon Series comes to Kilrush Print

In the pretty coastal town of Kilrush with its breathtaking scenery and home to Ireland's second widest street (there is no prize for guessing the first) - the third and last instalment of the TRI 3 Series comes to town. Kilrush is going to be like the Tour de France meets Oxygen. The first two events (Cahir and Galway) were very succesful and attracted a variety of levels of ability from beginners to the elite.
