Clare Sports Partnership

A four hour training course in the protection of children in sport will take place on Wednesday October 7th 2009 in the Clare County Childcare Committee Offices, 1 Kilrush Rd., Ennis.

This ‘Child Welfare & Protection in Sport’ training is for Children’s Officers and/or Designated Persons, Sports Leaders and other adults involved in the organisation of sport for young people. As well as undertaking child protection training, all governing bodies of sport and related organisations should adopt child protection policies and procedures as outlined in the Code of Ethics and Good Practice for Children's Sport.

The cost of the course is €25 per person paid in advance. Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis
